OUR STORY

We both had it on our hearts that we wanted to find that special someone, but despite all of our previous efforts, it never quite worked out. The harder we tried to find each other, the harder we failed in doing so. It wasn’t until we both surrendered control of finding someone to God that He worked it all out!

When we “met,” we were 4,685 miles away from each other, and although surrendered to God, both still not fully believing that He would work a miracle like this in our lives. After about 50 hours on Facetime, we were both awestruck that God had woven these two lives together in the way He did.

We connected over our love for Jesus, travel, cookie-dough ice cream, and more. Conor soon visited Susan in Hawaii, where she was living at the time, and we got to hang out in person. We knew for certain that this was something special and that God was at the center of it.

One year after meeting 4,685 miles away, Conor was just one foot away and down on one knee proposing to Susan!

We’re incredibly grateful for our family and friends, and we’re excited to share with you soon the culmination of our relationship with our wedding!
